Every action priced before it runs.
Credits are priced from what the models cost us, with a margin that keeps them running reliably. Small actions just run; anything over your auto-approve limit asks once, with the price.

These assume 1,300-token articles, 200 candidate articles a day per subject, and September 2026 model prices. Gemini’s price doubles on 1 January 2027, and Typestream always prices from the current rate card.

- Do monthly credits roll over?
- No. Your plan’s allowance resets each month. Credit packs last 12 months, and the credits that expire first are spent first.
- What stops us overspending?
- An auto-approve limit per action (250 credits by default), an optional monthly cap, and warnings when the balance runs low. Only owners and admins can buy.
- Why does the subscription cost anything?
- It covers what credits don’t: crawling and storing the news, keeping your subjects current, and support.
- Why might a price change?
- Model prices change. Typestream prices every action from the current rate card and shows you the price before anything over your limit runs.
